Meet Jenny and Juliet

This was my entry for a contest I recently participated in. A dress shoe and boot for upcoming fall. The design is based on mixing materials and utilizes: herringbone, leather and a jelly strap with stainless steel accents.

Basketball Shoes

Your Art Here

H&M is having another Your Art Here contest. This time, five winning art pieces will be printed on t-shirts and sold at H&M nation wide. Please vote for my piece by following this link and clicking on the five stars. I really appreciate your support. Tell your friends. Thank you everyone.

ZigTech

Try drawing a fashion shoe based on an athletic one, it’s a lot of fun. This is my wedge design inspired by Reebok’s ZigTech.

The Kelly Colorblock bag

This is a bag I recently designed. I hope to be able to show you photos of it very soon. The design features a mix of hard and soft construction with a double gusset and magnetic snaps. I was inspired by my favorite spring trends – color blocking and floral patterns.

Analogue

This is a small footwear and handbag collection I recently put together. It is inspired by the StyleSight Color Premiere Juniors Spring/Summer 2012 color guide in Analogue. I felt that the neutral palette with accents of bold color went well with elegant and practical accessory options with decorative features. I designed a print (inspired by decorative stitching on the sneakers), a plaid and pulled a scanned denim to go wit the color palette. You will recognize one of the handbags below from a previous post.

Fold-over Tote

This is a sketch for a tote bag I will be putting together in the next week. I have wanted a bag in this style for a while, so I designed one. I rarely purchase handbags anymore, they are a lot of fun to make. I am lining the bag with suede, so it’s a bit heavy, but the material has a rather luxurious feel. I’ll post work in progress shots in a day or two.

Flip Flops

I dream of summer… it was so cold today, very windy.

This is a presentation board of flip flops that I recently put together.  Really makes me miss the warmer weather. The holiday season will make the cold seem worth it very soon. For now I will bring color back to my life with design. Stay warm everyone.
